Ok so here's the dilemma. As you may have seen from my other post, my car needs tires pretty badly. If I order my tires from tirerack or discounttiredirect I will end up spending between $350 and $400 for decent tires + mounting/balancing.

Today I found some 7gc GTS wheels and tires for $200. The ad says they are painted satin black and "2 tires are good and 2 are about half worn." I e-mailed asking about the brand of the tire, etc.

Which do you think is worth it? My wife doesn't seem to think that used tires/wheels are they way to go, but I think it's a good way to get some sweet 7gc wheels that I've been wanting AND some half decent tires for the winter.

Go the used route. Even if two tires do need replacing, you can still drive on them as long as you have a good pair up front. And, you'll have yourself a nice wheel upgrade. smile.gif
