Ok so here's the dilemma. As you may have seen from my other post, my car needs tires pretty badly. If I order my tires from tirerack or discounttiredirect I will end up spending between $350 and $400 for decent tires + mounting/balancing.
Today I found some 7gc GTS wheels and tires for $200. The ad says they are painted satin black and "2 tires are good and 2 are about half worn." I e-mailed asking about the brand of the tire, etc. Which do you think is worth it? My wife doesn't seem to think that used tires/wheels are they way to go, but I think it's a good way to get some sweet 7gc wheels that I've been wanting AND some half decent tires for the winter. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

yes this is a good deal, i paid 150 for my 7gc rims with really really bad tires, but i had the tires replaced when i bought the rims, tires were 500 from pep boys for h rated tires, but they are futura tires, but you may want to consider new tires on the back you still need decent tires on the back, keeps your ass end straight instead of sideways
