Ok so here's the dilemma. As you may have seen from my other post, my car needs tires pretty badly. If I order my tires from tirerack or discounttiredirect I will end up spending between $350 and $400 for decent tires + mounting/balancing.
Today I found some 7gc GTS wheels and tires for $200. The ad says they are painted satin black and "2 tires are good and 2 are about half worn." I e-mailed asking about the brand of the tire, etc. Which do you think is worth it? My wife doesn't seem to think that used tires/wheels are they way to go, but I think it's a good way to get some sweet 7gc wheels that I've been wanting AND some half decent tires for the winter. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

Actually found the same guy on a local forum I'm a member of, asking $175 obo for members lol. These are the pics he tossed up, from the looks of it 2 of the tires are Hankook Ventus HRii's, and the other 2 are Riken Raptor's. I really can't afford to put tires on the rims if I get the rims (I was just going to keep driving my bad tires until they were pretty much bald). My wife seems to think I should wait and save to buy new tires for my wheels or find a set like this with better tires.
