Dont have the money for a swap (buying a bodykit) but got my 7A-FE put in, and lloovvee the low end torque!
Took new pic with my phone, not the greatest quality   OLD-  What do you think? still need to paint the exhaust manifold cover

Why did you get an engine put in? It looks like your old one but just painted. Even the rust on the heat shield is in the same spots.
Not a fan of the baby blue spray painted distributor cap and struts, but congrats over all for getting your car back from repair. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

I got a new engine cause mine had bad rings and i burned a ton! of oil, got 8 miles to the gallon, couldnt do above like 48! and the new engine didnt come with a new heat shield
. it essentially is a painted old engine. but i wasnt expecting such a sudden need for the new engine (wanted to do a swap) but didnt have enough time, so i couldnt bear looking at the "new engine" all greasy (it had 60k on it) so i really needed to paint it and at least cover up in my mind that i spent a bunch of money and still have a stock 7afe lolthanks for the congratz  QUOTE (lagos @ Dec 15, 2009 - 6:38 PM)  Why did you get an engine put in?
