I did a manual trans conversion earlier in the year, and so far I had changed out all my mounts to the manual mounts except for the main engine mount. I get some shaking on 1st or reverse so I'm guessing thats the prob right there. The main engine mount on the pass side is still the old auto mount from 1994. I went on toyotaworld and toyodiy and they lists two types of manual trans engine mounts TYPE A and TYPE B. What are the differences between the two. I want to change my auto mount to a manual mount. Type A looks like the correct one.

I never knew toyo was going down, i always used it when people said it wasn't working. I know at my work computer the pics won;t show because of security policies in place. but anyways going back to the topic anyone?

Nevermind, re-searching.

So the one on my car currently has the triangular mounting points, unlike that curved design of the type "b" so i would assume thats your answer
