Please dont bash about turbo's being better...... im well aware they are.
never the less, lets discuss: a procharger is simply the half way point between SC and Turbo, a turbine inlet for air, and a pulley insted of an exhaust turbine flow mount an addition pulley to the crank and sit it somewhere out of the way (below the alt?) of course the power loss/gain wont be that great... whine of a SC with reliability of a turbo... remove AC. Use the harmonic balancer to spin the procharger. Mount the procharger right under the alternator, like you originally stated. Get a dual inlet/outlet fmic and bam you're twincharged.
