Has anyone thought of it?
I found the company that makes them for the '05-'09 Ford Mustangs. Somewhat expensive. http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/shop/...etail&p=154 I know that the bulb size are different so that part would have to be cut and spliced/ soldered together. But at the other end the wires would have to be cut, matched up, and spliced/ soldered together. (Might need Mustang electrical Diagram to match wires to Celica.) ![]() Bulb sizes (might have missed some) Mustang bulb sizes... Thanks! |

I'm unfamiliar with the afterburners. I know what they look like, but I've never seen pictures of any of them lit up. If all three lights are the same color, I suppose it wouldn't be too bad. It would just look like a tacky Mustang imitation if you had 2 red lights then an amber light. If you had 3 red lights, it wouldn't look too bad. Plus since you will already be working with 3 lights that flash, you wouldn't have to install the extra relay for the crappy little sidemarker light in the USDM tails. Wiring sequential taillights for afterburners would be no harder than getting your hands on a wiring diagram for one of the relays for a Mustang and applying it to a Celica. If you want to do it, go for it. Personally, I think afterburners are the only Celica taillights that this could work with, and they aren't the most popular lights on 6gc.
