Fiberglass kits, Problem with it..can it break

He says that it is a problem if it is FG. He says fiber glass wil break as the plastic bumper will flex. Is this true... Has anybody had such problems...

He told me exactly what the guy told you. fiberglass is rigid and when it is molded into the flexible plastic it tends to break or crack because the plastic moves a lot which puts stress on the fiberglass. im sure there is a way to prevent this, but ive only done a little body work myself so i cant tell ya what it is. good luck.

xactly what i was told...anybody who a has experienced this...
But as kuya pointed out, regular driving should not put any stress on the bumper, unless it gets scraped...

Were you planning on molding the lip to your bumper?
