when i brake hard, e-brake light comes on and goes back off when car weight shifts.
sometimes when the car shifts weight when changing from 1st to 2nd or in 2nd gear and releasing the gas pedal, it lights on too. is this bad and how could i fix this? thanks

Sure the level can be on the low side, but you aren't telling why that will be! Mostly because of worn brake pads, so the pistons are way out of the caliper cylinders.
