 What is the difference of installing an air intake |

I;ve been looking at parts for my Celica on ebay and I found an air intake I wanted to know whats the differance in using one

only for sound, and looks, in hp increase not much, not more than 5hp if any,and if properly installed.
but any gain is good -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL
