Is it bad to "bounce off" the rev limiter every once and awhile? Could it do any serious damage?

Also, where can I get a decent aftermarket rev limiter that I can manually set?

Thanks

The 5sfe is noted to have connecting rod bolts that are only about 5/16 diameter which is a little on the small size for an engine like this, because of the small diameter of the bolts they tend to stretch under high load(rpms) which can occasionally cause an engine with a few miles on it to spin a rod bearing. I've heard of this happening to several people even with the stock 6200 rpm rev limiter in place.
