Ok, so I was on my way back from an indoor soccer game, and my buddy pulls up next to me at a stoplight in his '93 Town & Country obviously wanting to race. So at the green light I hit it and my poor '98 GT Auto convertible had trouble keeping even with him. Once we hit about 40 MPH I started to edge ahead and we had to stop at about 55 because the road turned into one lane but oh man was that sad...
Oh well, I guess I can chalk that up as my first win... I beat a minivan! Anything I should know about getting maximum acceleration out of an automatic off the line? |
