My convertible top has a leak but before I deal with that, I need to know how to drain the water out of the area behind the rear seats but in front of the trunk. I can hear it sloshing around so I assume there are drain holes that are clogged up but I can't find them. The interior isn't wet and the trunk is dry. If someone could describe a specific drain location or even better, post a pic, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks.

Ended up taking my '96 vert to a leak specialist, because nobody, including the dealer, could figure out the leak source. The top is designed so that water will drain into the body cavities just in front of the rear wheels. There are drain holes there. They can become clogged. Check the cavities first. Also, the drain "gutter" that channels the water to the cavities from the rear window area may need to resealed. Good luck.- Fuzzy |
