Like it says 87, 91 or more? whats better for performance or gas milage?

I use 91 octane from Shell. Supposedly really good fuel for your vehicle. Even for vehicles with forced induction. I also heard that Shell's Nitrogen enriched gas is really good for the engine as well. Helps to prevent the build up of "gunk".
I also use 94 Octane from Husky.
