quick question, my s2000 antenna has an extra wire, when i plug the two jacks into each other i dont really get any signal, when i tried just putting the end of the extra wire into the input jack of my car i got a signal? i was just playing around. but it worked. anyways what do i do? thanks in advance

That's a good deal on the antenna price.... mine was like 22 from the dealership. Bad reception? Mine isn't really bad at all. It's not quite as great as the 8ft flagpole but its really not all that bad.... Did you do the mod to your original antenna or did you go all out and get the screw on mount from a 7th gen? I did the mod my original, if you did the same, I'm thinking maybe your contact isn't good enough or possibly the antenna isn't a good quality one.
