I just had my windshield replaced after a friend's new years joke went sour. Since it was replaced, I noticed that my dash seems like it rattles more than before. The only thing I can think would have changed was if the dash was pressing against the window before and now it's not. When I reach down the dashboard to where it meets the window, there is a decent gap and I'm wondering if the gap is normal?
I do have to get it replaced again (there's two significant ripples in the glass and they are gong to replace it for nothing) so I wanted to know how close to the windshield is from other peoples dashboards? Do they touch or is there a decent gap? -------------------- ![]() |

They pobably dropped something in your defrost vent. Also the gap should really be pretty close to what it was before, maybe 1/8 in more MAX.Also the dash wouldn't rattle even I there were NO windshield. Start looking in that defrost vent
