My lift supports went out on me a month ago. I went to many places to see if they had any but none did. I dont know which to get, since the dealer is charging $150.00 each for the supports. I read the warning on the lift supports, it sed something about newtons and that sort of stuff. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me any specific lift supports or newtons to buy those in?

Just go to Autozone(or Advance Auto, Pep Boys, NAPA...). They should cost about $30 each or so. You should be able to go to the counter at most parts stores and just tell them what car you have and they'll tell you which ones to get.
I just replaced both of the ones in my friends minivan. Just make sure you have a second person there to support the weight of the hatch while you change them out. |
