I ended up decided to go pick up this 2nd gen 3sgte engine and trans this saturday. I'm going to bring my compression tester along and just make sure how that is. I'll be posting pictures up as soon as i get them. I hope all goes well.

nice dude...i remember you posting in my thread on how you wanted to swap...your gonna have a blast with it....but it IS a lot of work.
My only advice to ya would be to take your time, dont rush it, and do it right because it will be well worth it. When your drilling the hole through the frame for the pass. side motor mount, i would suggest using thick thread rod, washers, and lock-tight nuts. That seems to be the best way to do it. I'll be following your thread man, and any questions you have feel free to ask, should be another nice build thread
