So i bought a "new" 7A-FE and it has 60k on it (obviously was drained and cleaned before i put it in) and I put in I think Castrol 10W-30
And I just wanted to know If i can still switch to synthetic? Or will it mess with my internals? It may mess with seals, the problem with it is it cleans the engine too thoroughly and sometimes can clean it too much that the old oil around the seal is cleaned too much and creates oil leaks.
although 60k isn't too much so it should be alright, I changed mine at 200k and only got one seal that started leaking. |
