hey guys ive decided when the weather warms up a lil bit im going to clean up my engine bay a lil bit bc its lookin a little dirty for my likings... im going to paint my valve cover with regular paint but im planning on just touching up my head by doing a little masking and spray a lil silver..
now my question... could i just use regular car paint or like a spray paint to paint the head bc i kno its going to b verrrrry hot and i dont want it to melt, peel or burn off lol any ideas let me kno thanks Ted -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

the duplicolor rattle can engine enamel is great. I used it on my Olds Alero when i still had it, i could run that car for 6 hours, ad then pop the hood and set my hand right on it, it blocks heat like nobody's business, and if you can find the color you want, you can use the engine enamel as a base coat then paint over that with regular paint
