 Question on smogging ST205 engine |

I have a 1994 Celica GT with an ST205 engine installed. My question is if I do the following can I get a CARB sticker. Replace the ST205 block with a CA MR2 block that is 1994 or above, put the EGR on, have both catalytic converter installed, and leave everything else stock.

put an exhaust with a cat on it, and walk into a local shop and pretend the car is bone stock. if anyone asks, say ... i don't know, i bought it like that.
Then if it fails ask them what you have to do to make it pass. I know cali is tough, but sometimes people over think these things. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
