It was a terrible throw by Manning, plain and simple. Who throws a quick in on an all out blitz? Even I could have picked that ball off, knowing he had to get rid of it soon and was looking towards Reggie's direction. In a situation like that, you don't make that throw.

I've watched the play a million times... it wasn't a bad throw, it was where it was supposed to be in that situation. And in all reality, you would have no chance of picking off a pass like that... These are professional athletes.... He may have made it look easy, and it's just not that easy. I'm a very athletic, and very quick guy, and don't have confidence in myself to make that play.

Whats funny is they would have lost even if Reggie caught the ball.

My last post in this thread. I've said it everytime, it was a game we didn't deserve to win that day. Congrats New Orleans, but don't be arrogant about it. Without that play, the whole game is changed, and no one can argue that.

I agree Reggie was where he was supposed to be, I never stated otherwise. What I did state was that you don't make that throw at that time. It was 100% Peyton's fault that it was picked off, plain and simple. Just because the receiver is where the are supposed to be doesn't make them a good target. It's a very easy read in that situation and as the best quarterback in the league (yes I'm even putting him before Brady), he should know it was a wrong move and a very easy move to undercut and pick 6 on.
