This weekend I am getting a full 2.5" exhaust from my header to my muffler, my car is already pretty loud but I was wondering if this will make my car obnoxiously loud and it may sound to ricerish. I do not have a cat, or a resonator. So can anybody tell me what the results may be?

The cops may not care, from a legal standpoint, but everyone else around you DOES care especially late at night when your loud obnoxious catless resonatorless exhaust goes cruising by.
And anyway, if you're even the slightest bit self conscious or sensitive to the sound, you're gonna get sick of hearing it REAL quick - I just did a cat-back on mine, no resonator, and the first month or so I liked it alright (it's a really deep tone) but now I'm at the point where I just want it to STFU already so I can hear the music ![]() I guess you get to a point where once you reach a certain age, you don't want to always just drown out the sound with the stereo. Sometimes you just want to hear the music AND hear yourself think. And maybe be able to hear cars around you, in case one is honking at you or something. -------------------- ![]() |
