This weekend I am getting a full 2.5" exhaust from my header to my muffler, my car is already pretty loud but I was wondering if this will make my car obnoxiously loud and it may sound to ricerish. I do not have a cat, or a resonator. So can anybody tell me what the results may be?

get a resonator.. my car has 2.5 cat back to a meagan racing muffler (my cat is hallowed out tho bc the cone was busted inside) .. the resonator will give ur car a more deeper tone sound vs a high pitch ricer civic sound.. i have a old school res a cherry bomb glasspack haha thing is sick if u ask me, it gives my car a deeper throater sound and isnt a annouyinh high pitch.. u can pick one up from advanced auto for 24buck$ .. worth it to me
OK so what can I expect performance wise? Anything really? Maybe a slight change in torque? your power band will feel different at first.. personally when i first got mines done i felt that i lost power, which i was told in the chat room i lost my low end torque but gained high end torque which i believe is true bc i can feel a better response in higher rpms.. your going to loose back pressure thats y u wont feel as much low end torque.. once u get used to the new power band you will love it. -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe
