94 celica st convertion to gt-4, Trying to swap 7afe fwd with 3sgte awd Options

I have a 94 celica st 5 speed. Ive recently been researching gt-4 swaps. Id like to do a full gt-4 swap on my car. I have the 7afe(1.8l) motor with the 5speed tranny in it. I need advice and help with my plans. Id like to put the 3sgte(2.2) turbo motor along with the 5speed awd tranny in my car. Id like to know helpful tips, tricks, and anything that might help me along with the swap. I know the the electrical part of the swap will be a complete nightmare but im willing to do it. Anyone with any knowledge on how i should go about do this please let me know.

The 3sgte is turboed from the factory,meaning the engine came from the factory built to handle boost.The 5sfe was NEVER factory designed to hold boost,thus u have to upgrade a lot of parts to make it capable.For the the cost of getting a 5sfe and reliably turbocharging it you'd spend just as much to just initially buy a 3sgte.If u plan to do the awd swap(regardless of engine) u better to be ready to fork out 5k+ just for the reliable awd drive train.The 5sfe and 3sgte mount on the same places in the engine bay because they are both S series blocks,5Sfe,3Sgte,compared to 7Afe.The 5sfe stock transmission(s54) can be mated to a 3sgte,but wont hold over 300whp,and is of course FWD.For a 3sgte awd swap into a ST u better be ready to fork out around 10k...
