Well, while making another blog about why I strongly disliked another place... I had a thought to create a list about what places I would like to visit again based on personal experiences.
If you want, which I encourage, tell me why you do or don't like the places I listed. 10) Paradise, CA 9) Lake Tahoe, CA (I liked the surrounding area's better then the city, but this is more known) 8) Salt Lake City, UT 7) Eastpark Resovoir, CA 6) Las Vegas, NV 5) Maui, Hawaii 4) Santa Clarita, CA 3) Aranel, Costa Rica 2) Capitola, CA 1) Morro Bay, CA I'll list the reasons later on, but without a doubt these are the top ten places I would happily drop it all and go to again. -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! I'm kind of killing time, so I'll do as I said I would and list some reasons. 10) Talk about a great drive to and from, it is just mountains of beauty. It has a pretty neat town and an awesome atmosphere. 9) Another great mountain area. The best part is the snow and going up there to shoot guns and just have a blast in this absolutely breath taking wonder and beauty. 8) Salt Lake city is just one of the oddest and most awesome places I have been. I mean, from absolutely desolate lands to this amazing and beautiful city that has a REALLY different attitude then any city I have ever been to. The food isn't the greatest, but meeting people their was loaded with great stories and fun times. 7) This is a camping ground area that although lacks the real visual beauty, has a lot of sweet amenities without feeling like a phony trip. Nothing like being able to shop at a local shop about 10 minutes away then going back to your spot in front of a gorgeous lake, fish some, swim, chill with homies and make a fire. 6) Sin City, I'd like to evaluate further but as the saying goes, what happens there stays there ![]() 5) Greatest beaches in the world (that I have seen). The locals are more accepting to tourists and it is a very laid back place, with that nice tropical weather and like I said before, my favorite beach in the world ![]() 4) Santa Clarita, although not most peoples choices is glorious to me because it is just close enough to L.A. without being in L.A. (a huge plus for me). Whenever I have driven to it, I have always felt great. I have never ever had a bad experience there, and the drive to there is one of my favorite ever. 3) Costa Rica in general is such an interesting country. It is like a hidden gem of South America, great prices the locals LOVE Americans, the jungle is just shockingly beautiful. The beach is phenomenal, and there are so many great things to do and explore and see and witness and experience. Can't say enough good things about this place. 2) Capitola is number two on this list because for a while I severely hated Santa Cruz, and this sister city is such a reverse to that place that I had to put it in my top. Great people live there, dog friendly beaches, great drive and it smells like a good place to be (if that makes sense lol). 1) Number one because the food there is classic in my mind. A perfect coastal town. This is what California should be like, more places like this. It is absolutely GORGEOUS, they have there roots well on display while being a modern and efficient town. The food though... dear sweet mother of haysoos was it delicious (I like seafood). Fresh everything and the people their love everyone. Probably some of the nicest and quietest people I have ever met. On a side note, WOOT THE SUN IS BACK, I have my first burn of the spring/summer season! I love it. -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! (sort of 2011)
