 Header wraps, Are they safe? |

I was just wondering if header wraps are safe for a daily driver. Because on my dad's AE86, with a 4AG, he wrapped his headers and he later had to replace them b/c there was a big crack on on of the seams. Maybe he didn't wrap them right? I want to know b/c since the header on the 7AFE is not even a foot away from the air compressor and I don't want the excess heat from the header to damage the compressor. (That's what happened to my dad's AE86). Help please?

i've said it before and i'll say it again
 now clicky then by using the keyword "header wraps" you'll discover that some of the best of us use them. now you know good sir. now you know.  happy hunting!!
