Well, while making another blog about why I strongly disliked another place... I had a thought to create a list about what places I would like to visit again based on personal experiences.
If you want, which I encourage, tell me why you do or don't like the places I listed. 10) Paradise, CA 9) Lake Tahoe, CA (I liked the surrounding area's better then the city, but this is more known) 8) Salt Lake City, UT 7) Eastpark Resovoir, CA 6) Las Vegas, NV 5) Maui, Hawaii 4) Santa Clarita, CA 3) Aranel, Costa Rica 2) Capitola, CA 1) Morro Bay, CA I'll list the reasons later on, but without a doubt these are the top ten places I would happily drop it all and go to again. -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! Lol, as I understand it Kawai is not a place for tourists ![]() Maybe it's a personal preference thing, but I was in Kauai last spring break, and I loved it. I'd go back in a heart beat. If your looking for the whole touristy, packed beaches, and girls in bikinis experience, go to the bigger islands. But I scuba dived, hiked the country, went on a boat ride along the Napali coastline and got about 15 feet away from a huge humpback, and found beautiful secluded beaches that weren't packed with tourists. So it just depends what your looking for in a vacation. This post has been edited by tin_foil: Mar 15, 2010 - 3:27 PM -------------------- ![]() |

I personally like to be where their are not a lot of people (especially tourists) but at the same time I like to know that the people don't hate me for being an outsider. I am really interesting in Kauai with your opinion because I was told it was basically a deserted rock with mean locals on it. Had no idea it could be so badass. Mont Tremblant, Canada Never heard of this place, what is it? Or actually, what kind of fun did you have ![]() its just about the greatest secret in winter honeymoon destinations ever. it's about an hour north of Montreal, Quebec http://www.tremblant.ca/index.htm my wife and I went in Dec. 08 for our honeymoon. we went skiing, dog-sledding, snowmobiling, and just wandering around the little village. I loved it. oh yeah, and we went freakin' DOG-SLEDDING!!! I have a bunch of pictures up from the trip on my photobucket http://s659.photobucket.com/albums/uu320/j...nt%20Tremblant/ Ha ha ha that sounds amazing, I can't look at the pictures right now, but I really want to see what you are talking about. Sounds epic. -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! (sort of 2011)
