 distributer problem possibly, car wont start |

i just put in a motor in my celcica and its not getting spark. i put a test light in the coil and it dont pulsate but it turns on. can anyone tell me if its supposed to pulsate? and if anyone had this problem before help me out please. im buyign new cap and rotor and plugs and wires tomorrow but it still wontfix my issue. poss a crank sensor?

crank sensor near/in the oil pump housing
cam sensor in the distrib -------------------- I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
