soooo the setup on my car now is how it was when I got it. (the springs were cut) so my struts are horribly blown and I always bottom out, it's embarrsing when I give people rides.
okay so the aftermarket lowering springs that companys offer dont lower my car to my likeing.
So I was thinking, some cars came with the MacPherson strut setup besides celicas, (like other Toyota models and im pretty sure some 240sx's). Is it possible to swap springs with lighter cars with the MacPherson setup???? Coilovers are out of my price range right now. Thanks for the help if you understand what I'm saying laugh.gif

You are making it harder on yourself, just get 6gen springs or get aftermarket lowering springs or coilovers, or get spring bumpers for your shocks. Not sure how aftermarket springs would not lower your car to your liking? they range between 1" to 2.2" if thats not even enough coilovers will do 4" if you want. i know coilovers is not in your budget but if exact height is in your interest, budget needs to be. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish because I am getting you want random springs from other cars to meet your exact desire/specifications for ride height and comfort. Hope this clarifies your question. Basically, get what is made for our cars. we are all here to help you with any questions.
