Ok. I did some work for a guy at an audio shop. He gave me a security system in lieu of payment. Its remote start, locks and security. How hard is it to install one of these? Just wondering.

The more time you take on the install the more effective it will be.

I took my drivers side fender off so I could hide the siren, making it harder to cut the wires. I ended up taking the dash almost completely apart to hide all the wires and hook the door locks up. I think it took me a full day to do it all. It helped that I bought the door lock wiring harness along with the alarm. Just had to plug that into the junction block by the drivers kick panel to get the keyless entry to work, no cutting and soldering wires. I also recently got a toyota security light from a corolla so the install looks factory (except for the blue led I put in it).
