I always been wondering why they changed the engines in USA?. I dont recall if its the same 1.8 engine, But why did they make it 2.2 and only give it 130 hp?.
I meen, Why not just make the same engines everywhere, You should've had the 1.8 or 2.0 like in Japan and europa. But there has always been difference on USA's models compared the Japan / EU models.. Is it to reduce prices?, Legal reasons?. Someone help ![]() -------------------- 3SGE Driver :-)

its a combination of costs and politics
other countries have more money to pay for better products (engines in this case). believe me if when the celi came out and it had the option to get it with a 3sgte engine it would add at least 6000 to 8000 more just for another engine. in other countries it would of been a lot more. If companies do that then they would have a loss in their current revenue. since on top of that they would have to add cost of repairs, costs of transportation, and so on just to ship and maintain engines to middle or lower class countries. its all business right here, the world revolves around it guys. we should all know this by the time. i am graduating with an associates in business and CIS and i have learned a lot on how the world works. -------------------- ![]() |
