anyone have idea about how to fix it? can i just replace the antenna part? it works and mast seems ok just can not com into the hole completely...

You have to take apart the black plastic transfer housing to see if the rib has broken as it'll stay in the bottom case. Unless when you look at the rib on the actual antenna and it is rounded on the tip. If it looks chiped or flat ended you'll find the missing piece in the transfer case.
If the rib is intact, get a greese cleaner and get all of the OEM greese out of the transfer case & gear. Then replace with white lithium greese. One with tephlon works best. |
