3S-GE engine, How much is it worth in the States?? Options

I wanna know how much of a 3S-GE engine and where I can get it, and also does it worth to swap into the GT model, cos I don't have enough money to sway a 3S-GTE engine.

Nice to see another person from Washington. I'm down in Yakima right now, but I'm usually up in Bellingham for college.

Anyway, the 3S-GE engine found in the sixth generation Celicas/Currens is probably going to be hard to get a hold of, though the same generation 3S-GE may be available in the US, and I know that some other generations of the 3S-GE are available in the US for sure. If you're looking for a red top BEAMS 3S-GE with VVT-i, know that those are very expensive and hard to come by. There are some links on sticky thread at the top of this forum in the "Feasible Engine Swaps" thread about where to find some engines. Also, you may want to try contacting Nix99 since they're in Lynnwood.

As far as labor is concerned, I'd imagine that the amount of labor would be very close to as much labor as a 3S-GTE swap would require. The 3S-GTE swaps have been done and are documented, so getting help for a 3S-GTE swap would be easier than getting help for a 3S-GE swap. Are you planning on doing the swap yourself, or having somewhere else do it?
