3S-GE engine, How much is it worth in the States??

Anyway, the 3S-GE engine found in the sixth generation Celicas/Currens is probably going to be hard to get a hold of, though the same generation 3S-GE may be available in the US, and I know that some other generations of the 3S-GE are available in the US for sure. If you're looking for a red top BEAMS 3S-GE with VVT-i, know that those are very expensive and hard to come by. There are some links on sticky thread at the top of this forum in the "Feasible Engine Swaps" thread about where to find some engines. Also, you may want to try contacting Nix99 since they're in Lynnwood.

As far as labor is concerned, I'd imagine that the amount of labor would be very close to as much labor as a 3S-GTE swap would require. The 3S-GTE swaps have been done and are documented, so getting help for a 3S-GTE swap would be easier than getting help for a 3S-GE swap. Are you planning on doing the swap yourself, or having somewhere else do it?

First of all, thx a lot of ur opinion!!
By the way, I know the 3S-GTE engine has much power and potential than the 3S-GE engine, but the main point is if I gonna swap the 3S-GTE engine, I also need to change the transmission of my car, right. It will cost it much more expensive than I just swap a 3s-ge engine. By the way, I have already asked many car shops in WA, they all told me that they didn't have enough confidence to make a perfect swap into my car, so I am very scare there will be many problems in the future, especially I gonna change the transmission of car from FF to AWD. At last, do u guy know how much of the VVTi-Beams 3S-GE engine in the States right now, and also is it the VVTi engine is as same as Honda V-tech engine ka??
Moreover, u guy told me that a guy Nix99 who is also in Lynnwood, right??
