I want to replace my intake manifold and plenum - the plenum is easy, but the manifold itself looks kinda tricky and removing the fuel rail scares me because I've never done it before and have NO idea how to do it properly or what to expect.
Can anyone direct me to a decent how-to, or do a quick write-up for me? Other than disconnecting the battery and not smoking around it, what safety precautions do I need to take when pulling the injectors & disconnecting the fuel rail? I don't at ALL know the proper way to do this, and I don't entirely trust Haynes. -------------------- ![]() |

i have a port and polished intake manafold and it was easy to change and it made a hell of a difference.. but the rings went out of it. so im selling the whole moter if ur interested. it has custom forged alumanum pistons( cost over $1000) port and polished head and maching intake, and toga barrings.
