engine torque damper for ST models Options

I looked around on the site and found nobody with an engine torque damper in their Celica's. Then I ran across something on club corolla and decided to give it a shot. Here is the link to the DIY http://www.corollacarclub.com/forum/showth...t=engine+damper.

Had to make some adjustments of my own so I didn't follow the guide.


I was pleased with the results afterwards.

I've only seen one for the ST202/ST205 made by "Pit Road"

The item is designed to absorb extra torque placed on the engine during all sporty driving. It will reduce extra movement of the engine resulting in quicker engine response. In addition the item will help reduce the stress on the exhaust system joints and smoother shifting between gears.

now the only problem is price

the one i bought was 40 dollars off ebay + a little time modifying the parts.
