300zx help, Updated: pics on pg 2 Options

Found a great deal on a 1990 nissan 300zx, t-tops, 2+2, non turbo, mint. 74000 miles on it.

Just wondering if anyone knows what the common problems with this car are? What to look out for, etc?


price is not the issue so don't worry about that.

I have been around 2 of these,one of my friends has a TT,and ive been up close and personal.They are not the easiest car to work on,we did his timing belt(mind you we are teenagers) and it took us about 10 hours from start to start.Also my GFs best friend has/had one(rolled it into a ditch),it was a NA auto but still really quick.They are quick cars,but really heavy and hard to work on.

You must not have many friends.. to constantly be an A$$ hole just shows either you don't get enough sex or you just don't have friends. Of course he could have goggled, but he just wanted to know if there were people on this site that owned a 300zx.

I bet that sounded REALLY funny in your head...

Actually reading isn't one of my favorite things to do, it is more of a chore to me. So I just wanted to give him a thumbs up, because I was under the impression he missed out on a good deal, but looking for ano.... wait... Was that someone else? Oh yeah, the guy looking for the MKI... My bad...
