As some of you know from the chat, lately I have started doing some powdercoating. I can only do smaller items- no wheels, for example. But I can powdercoat valve covers, brake calipers, things like that. I am looking for more metal to powdercoat and as I get more things powdercoated, I will have more example pictures of my work. If anyone needs anything powdercoated, let me know and I'd be glad to do it for you!

7A-FE Valve cover

Aluminum Ebay intake pipe

5S-FE Valve cover, high-temp silver Erm... Excuse how dirty the engine bay is. I just bought this car two days ago and it doesn't run.

Right now, I only have very basic colors on hand. As the orders come in, I will order more powder. Also, do not send me any parts that keep your car functioning if you daily drive the car!!! I just know someone is going to take their brake calipers off of their DD and send them to me and realize the next day that they need the car... So let's be sensible about this! That being said, I am looking forward to offering a powdercoating service for anyone that needs it.

I can do valve covers and exhaust manifold covers for $45 and calipers for $60 (since there are two in a pair. More cleaning, more preparation, etc.) Anything fancy will mean a little more money, of course. As I get more powder in, prices are likely to go down. Powdercoating is not limited to car parts either. I can powdercoat anything you like, as long as it's metal.

Are you able to sandblast parts clean before coating them? And who's 7AFE valve cover is that? I have a 7AFE valve cover that is powdercoated, but I think it was done wrong/poorly because the coating bubbled and looks like complete ass now. I'd LOVE to get a new valve cover for it, and I'd even be willing to send you this one as a core to get you started for those 7A dailies who can't live w/out their valve covers.

And when I source calipers, I'm sending you those to coat for me, too! (but I will keep my current ones as back ups, ya just never can tell)

edit: PS: I think I figured out how to tether my Droid, so I should be back in chat at night again soon. If not, then in 2 weeks after I move. wink.gif
