Street racing is a taboo because it takes a certain mind to appreciate it. Most people here either don't have means to do it or can not afford it or just simply repeat someones words. Yes there are irresponsible street racers such as 15 year olds who just got their driver's license and cant drive in a straight line let alone handle anything faster than a kia.
Street racing is no more dangerous than a teenager who is driving and texting or a soccer mom who multitasks or a half asleep guy who is weaving all over or an old person who cant even see above the steering wheel. When done responsibly street racing can be fun and safe at the same time. It happens all over the world and it does not matter if its bikes, cars, scooters, horses, camels, bicycles, pogo sticks... as long as you put 2 men with 2 sources of transportation... you will have a race. I do not recommend street racing but I do support it. After all that is why all of us want to put power modifications... to go faster than the other guy... ideally a lot faster. -------------------- Captain Pessimist
