Ok, I just put a turbo on my 5sfe. I used the 3sgte manifold, stock ct26 tubo that I had a full rebuild, and a Mr2 map sensor, HKS safr, twin power ignition, vortech boost rising fuel pressure regulator, 96 supra non-turbo injectors, colder spark plugs, a set of performance spark plugs wires, and I used the Hks oil filter relocater kit. I had Pann Auto install all of this for me. Today they told me that when they put it on the dyno, the car was blowing blue smoke. They do not have much experience with turboing the 5sfe, so they asked me to check around and see if there are any usual difficulties on first start up. I went ahead and told them to do a wet and dry compression test, as well as look into the turbo. I wont get any feedback from them until Friday because of New Years. Does any one have any information that would help me out? Please just post, I will check often.

Check the intake manifold for oil in it. It maybe a leaking seal iaround the turbo shaft.
MAy be too much oil in the engine. MAke sure that the engine breather is not connected to the intake manifold. Compresion test for leaking rings and vavles. Follow in the order about, althoughthe engine breather here could be first. -------------------- West_Minist
