Was wondering what a stage 3 clutch was like. I was checking out this Civic and the guy is like it has a stage 3 clutch in it and thats all he would tell me over the phone.

Is this a different type of clutch than normal that makes it harder or easier to shift. Just a n00b question.

it doesn't do it when speed shifting. and i'm not talking about the launch, im just asking really if you can tell the difference in the grab over stock in all parts of shifting. not that im stalling the car or anything but have you ever just gotten a little quick with the clutch and had it rock you forward a little just when shifting mainly into second? my brother has a performance tranny and clutch in his mustang and you couldnt make that thing buck if you wanted too. so what im tyring to figure out is if a performance clutch in our cars would act the same or if its just the power of his car.

man, im trying to put this in words that wont make me look like i dont know how to drive a manual. confused.gif
