 I need serious help from anyone who nows Celica's, Not sure if this is the right thread to post this. |

So im in serious need of help with this car. Apparently whom ever i bought it from put in a COMPLETELY different engine and put a 2.2 valve cover on it or something. Anyways my cars been in the shop for a good month now with me and the mechanics trying to figure out what is wrong with it. So we replaced the dizzy, plugs wires basically everything even tryed a new harness still does the same thing!!.. So we took it to Toyota and they even told me that my car whom ever did the swap was a idiot and cut and spliced wires to grounds, other hot wires ext. There are so many wires that are cut that dont even go to anything its just a complete cluster F***. I REALLY dont want to sell my Celi, so my question is If i were to buy a BEAMs like i want that comes with the entire harness, trans, ecu, air box, sensors, ext. Would this fix my wiring problem !? I d ont want to buy this engine and it still does the same thing i love my car but if i cant figure out whats wrong with it im going to part it out or just sell it as a whole.
PLEASE someone help me im desperate. ! I love my car and i dont want to get rid of it ! . |

I know im not a idiot..... The one in my car says that. The valve cover says 2.0L so basically it makes zero since to me.
Its basically identical to that 5sfe, only difference it has is it says 2.0L. I personally think that the bottem and top end of the car is different. Call me a idiot doesnt matter its just what im thinking. This post has been edited by JuMPiiN: Apr 29, 2010 - 11:54 PM |
