sorry mobile post...so im kind of limited to what i can do. anyhow......today accidently tore out my od switch while working on the shifter. so my question is two parts. one has anyone relocated the od switch somewhere else? say steering wheel. and second has anyone changed out the shifter "knob" for something that does not involve the side button....say something smaller and that you have to push down on......

I agree. I wanted to do this too just becaues the OEM shifter is so big and bulky but aftermarkets look really lame. I was waiting to see if someone got the 7th gen shifter to fit or not. but never got confirmation. maybe you could try.
