Why do you not recomend going with KYB and ground controls? I mean I would love to get Konis but I just dont think I can justify the price.

I'd only get coilovers for racing purposes. KYBs are stock replacements, and don't neccesarily out-perform stock struts. It's all about the cornering ability with an adjustable suspension set-up. If you have the adjustable coilovers, why not the struts also? They are worth it, performance-wise. Trust me. If you've ever track raced, it's very noticeable. It's like taking a hard corner @ 60mph with limited body-lean and good grip, with minor understeer (although I'd typically weight-shift, oversteer, overcorrect, and powerslide the corner, then come out again with slight understeer at the exit)... as opposed to noticeable/heavy body-lean, because of the noticeably softer suspension...

In other words, depending on what you get them for. I'd only get coilovers for racing purposes, and since I haven't raced in a few years, and I drive my car daily and enjoy a soft ride, I'd not get coilovers... considering it'll only be for 'looks' purposes. Performance-wise, they're very worth-while. Looks-wise... well... don't even get coilovers and konis... get airbags... =]
