Hey everyone! I’ve been researching the forum trying to find an answer to this question with no luck.
I have a 1994 Celi GT with quite a substantial amount of stereo equipment in the hatch. Over time this excess weight has caused my suspension to sag and now my rear suspension is shot. I estimate that the added weight of the equipment is about 300 lbs. Does anyone know of a company that makes springs that can upgrade my carrying capacity in the rear? I am not looking to lower my car as I live in Idaho and the roads are not made for low cars! Thanks for any help you all can give! |

You've got a bit of a conundrum there as I don't think those really exist. Lowering springs are stiffer and therefore wouldn't sag (at least not as much), but the problem is that lowering springs...well...they lower.
Tanabe makes springs that offer around a .5" drop, but I'm not sure if they're much stiffer than stock. http://www.tanabe-usa.com/nf210.asp?id=2 This post has been edited by SwissFerdi: May 5, 2010 - 7:51 AM -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]
