 how to put in a new front subframe/k-frame?, need specifics, thanks alot! |

Well I got my engine replaced about 6 months ago, and found that part of my front subframe is rotted through!
 So I want to know how to remove the front subframe? is it simple (I know a bit about cars) Im hoping I dont need to REMOVE the engine, but Can I just get an engine hoist and support it in place, while I take off the subframe? What exactly is it connected to? thanks for anyinfo anyone can give to me! thanks!- Need more specifics, someone dumb it down

pretty sure you gotta take the ball joints out, unbolt the rack n pinion, unbolt it from the frame of the car itself, and what ever else is connected to it.

I know pressure said the side mounts are enough to support the engine, but I just want to make sure lol, cant have it falling on me
 . It seems pretty basic, just unbolt stuff, nothing requiring special tools or anything right?getting ready want to start tomorrow!
