ok so i took my old motor and tranny out.
and we were getting ready to put the new one in
and we noticed that the third clip to the ecu from wiring is gone and that the maf clip isnt their
does anyone kno were i can get some
or have any advice
or would take to give their opion on like a neptune stand alone ecu?

Personally... for a bit more $$ and a lot less of a headache... get the blacktop electronics and keep it nice and stock and reliable (compared to megasquirt)... or go with the stock silvertop electronics.

As far as the plugs go... I'm pretty sure most of the early 90's AFMs (not MAFs, which is slightly different) use the same plug (although wire colors may be different). As far as the ecu plug goes, count the number of pins... go to the junkyard and find something that matches. Most Japanese harnesses of equivalent years use the same plugs (all from the same manufacture) and you should be able to find the correct plug (albiet with different wiring and pin locations). I used a 22 pin (if I remember correctly) ecu plug from a Honda in one of my 20V conversions many years ago. Exactly the same thing as the Toyota plug, except with different wiring.
