my friend bought a 94 5S-FE Celica GT-S 5speed with a blown motor
he's attempting to swap in a 3S-GTE could anyone tell me what he needs other than the motor will the 5S tranny bolt up to the 3S-GTE? what else does he need other than the computer? are the subframes the same? any needs for custom mounts if the 3S-GTE mounts are available? any input would be much appreciated

my friend runs 3 shops, mechanic shop, body shop and detailing shop. he picked up the gen6 for 1k and is looking for some fun with it and sell within 2 years for 5~6k after a paint job and 3s-gte swap
am i correct that the most popular 3S motor used for the swap is the one from the gen5 alltrac model and just bolt it up to the 5S 5speed tranny? |
