The thing i hate most about the coupe is the trunk with the old school trunk struts. I really like the new cars now with the trunks that use mechanics rather than hydraulics to lift the trunk. here is an example, its an accord.
![]() has anyone tried modifying the trunk to use this kinda mechanism? |

you would need to get appropriate hinges and weld or bolt them somewhere inside trunk area and completely eliminate stock hinges.
There is a system offered by company called autoloc. Pretty sure its spring loaded. There is also a universal trunk set for hondas that opens up and slightly back and operates based on a shock/strut system. -------------------- Captain Pessimist
